- Case type – Mini tower

- Weight – 3.17 kg / 7lb

Are you on a really strict budget to build a gaming pc, if you have that problem ROSEWILL Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case is the best solution for you. This Case is a low budget pc case but it is released under a good brand name and has good space in the casing and it’s super cheap.
ROSEWILL Micro ATX Mini Tower case mostly made out of thin steel plates and plastic so it’s pretty light, most components in the front are plastic. There is no window panel in this casing.
You can attach Graphic cards up to 300mm length with one SSD and one HDD, if you are planning to attach a bigger graphic card (length 300mm + ) you may have to give up one hard drive. They have design Hard drive mount plate very architectonically. When you are attaching a hard drive in the casing you can just swing out the mount plate and attach it very easily, actually it is something we can’t expect from a PC casing in this price range.
Cable management in this casing is brilliant, there is enough space and clips behind the back panel to attach cables and also bottom of the case there is a dust filter too.
Pros
- It’s really worth for the price
- Enough space for cable management
- Great looking
- Hinged swinging HDD bay
Cons
- There isn’t good airflow in this casing
- Not enough space to attach fans
- Not enough room to attach CPU cooler
2. Thermaltake Versa H17 Black SPCC
Specifications
- Form factor – Mini-ITX / M – ATX
- Case type – Mini tower
- Dimensions – 380 x 205 x 390 mm (H x W x D )
- Weight – 4.6kg / 10.16lb
- Ports – USB 3.0 x 1, USB 2.0 x 2, HD Audio x 1
- Hard drive slots – 2 x 2.5″ with 2 x3.5”
- Fans comes with the casing – one 120mm Black Rear Fan
This is the second option I’m giving to you if you are building a budget gaming computer. This is actually THE BEST QUALITY GAMING PC CASE you can buy from the market right now for a minimum price. This case is also released under a good brand name, it has enough space in the casing and it’s super cheap.
Thermaltake Versa H17 case mostly made out of quality steel plates and plastic and it’s bit heavy than the ROSEWILL casing which I mentioned above, and more importantly this casing has a PSU shroud that’s one thing you can’t expect from a budget pc casing however there is no window panel in this casing.
On the back of the motherboard tray there are enough rubber covered cable management holes and clips to route cables cleanly and that’s another plus for a budget pc case. Most pc cases in this price range is really flimsy but not the Thermaltake Versa H17 they have used really good quality steel for this casing and you can feel it when you touch it.
On the front panel you can attach up to three 120mm fans but the wires that connects to the usb ports and the audio will get in the way of the third fan so actually you can attach two 120mm fans perfectly. You can attach up to two SSD and HDD in this casing and SSD mounts comes with anti-vibration screws.
If you do not attach front panel 120mm fan which is located straight to the graphic card, you can attach up to 350mm length Graphic cards in this casing (that means even the latest RTX 2080 can attach in this casing) on the front panel you can mount a radiator up to 280mm.
Pros
- Tool-free design
- Budget friendly
- Excellent cable management
- Power supply shroud
- Use of sound absorbing material.
Cons
- Casing is bit heavy
3. DeepCool MATREXX 55 Case
Specifications
- Form factor – E-ATX/ATX/Micro ATX/Mini-ITX
- Case type – ATX Mid Tower
- Dimensions – 480mm x440mm ×210mm (H x W x D )
- Weight – 97 kg/ 15.36lb
- Ports – 1×USB3.0, 2×USB2.0, 1×Audio(HD), 1×Mic, 1×RGB Button
- Hard drive slots – 3.5″/2.5″,
- Fans comes with the casing – none
Quality and Durability
DeepCool MATREXX 55 is made out of SPCC (commercial quality cold rolled steel ) and ABS ( Tempered glass) this Case is strong, and has a painted textured feel to it, than the standard enamel paint. Both front panel and the side panel of this casing are made out of ABS and this casing is the lowest price one of that kind. In the front panel there is a RGB strip and there is button on the top of casing to change the colors of it. This casing doesn’t come with pre-installed fans actually this may works in either way, some people don’t prefer cheap fans and they want to select the fans to mount in the casing on their own while some expect a fan because most of cases comes with a freebie. And there are magnetic dust filters on top and the bottom of the case. Also it even has a PSU Shroud.
Design
This casing is not a tool less design you will need screw driver to mount hard drives and etc. You can remove the both front panel and the side panel whenever you want which are made out of ABS (Tempered glass) in this casing you can mount up to 370mm graphic card (which is the maximum graphic card length) without any issues, DeepCool MATREXX 55 runs cool and quiet and it has enough space to mount everything you want and it comes with no sharp edges.
Airflow
This casing has a very good airflow system but it doesn’t come pre-installed fans that means you have to buy fans for this casing. In this case air intakes on two sides of the front panel and it will exhaust from back and the top. In this DeepCool MATREXX 55 casing you can mount,
Rear: 1×120mm
Front: 3×120mm
Top: 2×120mm/ 2×140mm
And you can mount,
Front: 120/240/360mm
Top: 120/140/240mm
Rear: 120mm radiators
Hard drive orientation
This is not a tool less design that means you will need a screw driver to mount hard drives, in the hard drive bay you can mount
2x 3.5″/2.5″
4x 2.5″ (back of the motherboard tray)
There are four hidden slots for install one SSD at the back of the mother board panel and that’s a very smart thing which we can’t expect from a budget casing like Thermaltake Versa N21
Cable Management
There are enough space and clips on back of the motherboard tray to attach cables cleanly but if you mount SSDs at the back of the motherboard tray hiding cables behind the motherboard tray will be a bit trouble… if you remove the front panel to mount fans or a cleaning purpose you will have to deal with the wires of the circuit board (circuit board of the RGB light strip and the switch).
Peripheral Ports
1×USB3.0
2×USB2.0
1×Audio(HD)
1×Mic
1×RGB Button
Pros
- Great cable management design
- Good design for airflow, with lots of fan capacity
- Magnetic dust filter
- It’s very much worthy for the price
- Runs cool and quiet
- Supports almost all MoBo types/sizes.
Cons
- lots of screws (it’s not easy to perform the built)
- There are no DVD/Blu Ray writer slots in this casing
conclusion
It’s a really good case, it’s really value for money full glass side panel, plenty of room, great air flow, and RGB lighting I would recommend this case to anyone who looking for buy a Gaming PC casing under $50
4. Thermaltake Versa N21 Black Edition
Specifications
- Form factor – ATX /MINI ITX /Micro ATX
- Case type – ATX Mid Tower
- Dimensions – 513.08mm x 215.9mm x 462.28mm (H x W x D )
- Weight – 62kg / 10.2lb
- Ports – 1 x USB 3.0, 2x USB 3.0, HD microphone and headset jacks
- Hard drive slots – 25″ & 3.5″
- Fans comes with the casing – 120mm rear exhaust fan
Quality and Durability
Thermaltake Versa N21 is made out of SPCC (commercial quality cold rolled steel) this material allows the case to as light weight as plastic but as strong as steel. There is a front panel in the casing and you can open it when you want to access the DVD writer/ Blu-ray writer but when you touch that panel you will feel like it made out of cheap plastic but it won’t be a problem because most people don’t use DVD or Blu-ray writers nowadays. This casing available in two colors which are black and white and more importantly it has a 3-year warranty.
Design
Thermaltake Versa N21 is a tool less design, it comes with unique triangular transparent side window to have better look at the inner system, you can mount 250mm Graphic card with the hard drive cage and without it you can mount 360mm graphic card in this casing.
Airflow
This casing comes with preinstalled 120mm rear exhaust fan and it’s really good quality one, you can mount
Front – 2 x 120mm
Top – 2x 120mm
Rear 1 x120mm (pre-installed)
When you are installing these fans you don’t have to struggle with cables like most of the cheap cases, and that’s a plus point for this case and the plastic cover which is located at the front panel of the casing may be disturb to the air flow in some way but you can open that plastic cover when you want so it won’t be a big problem.

Cable Management
There are enough space and clips at the back of the motherboard plate to attach cables, I’m sure you can have very clean view of the inner system through the transparent window if you use those thing wisely, but there are some restrictions at the back of the mother board panel because there is slot to mount ssd in there, so you have to be bit careful when you are attaching cables in the back of the mother board panel.
Peripheral Ports
On the front of the casing you can mount up to two DVD/ Blu ray writers and there is plastic cover for them you can open/ close it when you want
And there are
- USB 3.0 x 1
- USB 2.0 x 2
- HD Audio x 1
Ports in this casing
